H4H Young Researcher Award 2017 : Call for Abstracts

The Hydration for Health Initiative invites young researchers in the field of healthy hydration to submit abstracts focusing on novel research that contributes to the scientific field of hydration and health. Submission of abstracts is encouraged in, but not restricted to, the following areas: hydration markers, hydration and health in general and kidney health in particular, hydration and cognition, hydration, behaviour and well-being, fluid and water intake studies.

The prize winner

The young researcher who submits the winning abstract will be invited to present his/her research and results as an oral presentation at the 9th Annual Hydration for Health Scientific Conference in Evian (France) on July 4th 2017. The abstract will also be published as part of the proceedings of the 9th Annual Hydration for Health Scientific Conference publication. 
The Hydration for Health Initiative will sponsor the travel and accommodation costs of the winning young researcher’s attendance at the 9th Annual Hydration for Health Scientific Conference in Evian, France.

Abstract selection

Deadline: May 25th 2017
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Hydration for Health Initiative Expert Working Group, consisting of global experts in the field of hydration and health, who will elect the best abstract based on international scientific standards, and its contribution to the field of healthy hydration.


Abstract requirements

  • Title (20 words maximum)
  • Authors and affiliations, with the name of the presenting author underlined
  • Summary of the research consists of background, objective, method, results and conclusion/findings (not including authors and affiliations, title and biography), not exceeding 500 words
  • Tables and figures are accepted
  • Biography of the presenting author (300 words maximum)
  • Submission is limited to one abstract per author
  • English language only
